Senior of the Week
Emily Harris is a flutist in the Whitewater High School Band. She has been playing flute for 8 years. Emily is a flute section leader in the Marching Band where she plays piccolo and she is also a member of the Wind Ensemble. As a flute player, Emily has been a member of the GMEA District 6 honor band and she has also participated in the University of Georgia January Music Festival “Janfest”. Outside of school, Emily has also played in her church orchestra.
In addition to her responsibilities with the band, Emily is very involved at Whitewater High School. She is in the Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Ping Pong Club, and the Spanish Honor Society.
After graduation, Emily intends to go to college and pursue a degree to become a dietician.
